  Upcoming Events March 1 STOMP into March begins March 1 Read-a-thon begins Pink Shirt Day "Pink Shirt  is where we wear pink shirts because a boy went to school in a pink shirt and he got bullied. One of the students wore pink shirts to school to support him." Jumana "We got pink paper and we had to draw leave and put a nice message in them. Someone made a tree on our door and we put the leaves on the tree." Sam Celebration of Learning "We went home and we did the Celebration of Learning. We had to do math problems to show our parents how we are solving problems. We had a Locked Room they had to solve and we each made our own little part of the Locked Room. And we also showed the websites that we had created. We each got a new topic or a new city and we had to listen to news articles and then write about them."   Upcoming Events February 24th - Pink Shirt Day February 24th - Virtual Celebration of Learning, on Google Classroom Multiplication "When we're doing multiplication we learned how to make arrays as strategies. An array is like a picture for example, 3 X 5 is 3 rows of 5." Son "We did multiplication centres in the library and we worked in partners to do everything that it said to do. There was one that said to do the times tables for a specific number. The orange snowshoes were the biggest and the red ones were the smallest, and the green ones were in the middle. We had to walk across the field."
