Pink Shirt Day

"Pink Shirt  is where we wear pink shirts because a boy went to school in a pink shirt and he got bullied. One of the students wore pink shirts to school to support him." Jumana

"We got pink paper and we had to draw leave and put a nice message in them. Someone made a tree on our door and we put the leaves on the tree." Sam






Celebration of Learning

"We went home and we did the Celebration of Learning. We had to do math problems to show our parents how we are solving problems. We had a Locked Room they had to solve and we each made our own little part of the Locked Room. And we also showed the websites that we had created. We each got a new topic or a new city and we had to listen to news articles and then write about them." Makena

Multiplication

"We did multiples and would have to find the factors of the multiple." Evelyn
 
"We had to do a math problem where we had to find out how much coins he had in equal groups. You could find out how much coins he had with different kinds of groups." Owen






News Article Summaries

"We typed our summaries onto the new websites." Son

"Our summary was about our city and we had take the notes that we wrote down and make it into a short paragraph." Jumana


Locked Room Testing

"We got into groups and we tested out some of other people's Locked Rooms. Some people went across their's and the other partners had to figure it out instead of them telling them." Dorela

"We also had to solve other people's Locked Room to see if it was really hard or easy. After we finished the first one we would move onto the second Locked Room." Ege




Endangered Animals

"We would do a Frayer model and we would get tech and we would have to figure out the definition of endangered species and characteristics, examples and non-examples of endangered species." Isla

"We would tell Ms. Cropper which animals were endangered and she would write them up on the board. We would write 5 of the endangered animals that we wanted to research." Jake
